1. Cut 12 lengths of chain making each length 9 links long.
2. On eye pin, add one 4mm jet bead, one silver spacer, one 10mm jet bead, one silver spacer bead, and one 4mm jet bead. Using round nose plier, make loop for eye on open side of eye pin (pin may need to be trimmed first.). Repeat for all eye pins for a total of 6 finished “beaded pins”.
3. Make two sided Chandelier piece by holding two earring pieces together (matching top to top and bottom to bottom). Insert Jump ring into top holes (closing ring slightly to hold pieces together) and insert another jump ring into the bottom holes (again closing slightly). Repeat for a total of 5 two-sided chandelier pieces.
4.To assemble necklace, attach one half of the hook clasp to a cut piece of chain using jump ring . Add a ‘beaded pin’ piece to chain using eye of pin. Add another piece of cut chain to the other eye of ‘beaded pin’. Add two-sided chandelier piece to chain using jump ring already attached. Add a cut chain piece to the other side of the chandelier piece using jump ring already attached.
5. Continue adding a ‘beaded pin, chain, chandelier, chain’ pattern, ending with the last piece of chain. Finish by attaching the other half of the hook clasp to the chain using the last jump ring.
The last step is to create the ‘marcasite’ look on the chandelier parts: a: Place necklace on flat surface so one side of each two-sided chandelier piece is also laying flat. b: Place a few drops of Bead Fix into the round center of the chandelier. Sprinkle 10-12 grey glass seed beads onto glue. Let dry and shake off excess beads. 3: Flip necklace over and repeat step ‘bv’
